Dead Ringers’ new album Monument brings together heavy riffs, slow-burning grooves, and moments of psychedelic space. Recorded live, Monument harnesses the band’s heavy Midwest swagger, as it dances between catchy, hypnotic rock riffage and raw, toned-out doom madness. Firmly rooted in a lived place and time—as any lasting monument would be—the album explores loss, identity, and heartbreak in ways usually avoided in the emotionless haze of most stoner rock.
